Always check your carrier every time prior to wearing for any signs of wear. Only wear
your child for as long as your body is OK with. Don't over do. Above all use your own
sense of whats right for you and your child. You may want to have some help the first
few times you put the Snugglebug on so that you can get a feel for it and your baby can
get use to the "putting on" process. These instructions are just for a starting point. Make
the carrier work for you. Enjoy!
Front wearing:
1. Drape your carrier like an
apron. (shown in picture)
You want the bottom of the
strap to be sitting above
your hips so it won't slip
off. Snap it and tighten it
down.
2. Hold your baby facing
you. Their bottom should be
just above where the back
joins the waist strap.
4. Holding your baby with
your left hand reach around
behind yourself with your
right hand and grab the left
shoulder strap.
3. Bring the shoulder straps
up over your shoulders. Just
let them drape there. Hold
onto your child through this
whole process. (pictured left)
5. Clip that strap into the
clasp on the right side and
cinch down

6. Do that same thing with
the right shoulder strap.
7. Bounce up and down a
little so that your baby
"settles" and you can cinch it
down nice and secure. Done!
(as shown on right)
Back wearing
1. Snap the waist band in the
front with the carrier draped
downward. It should be
above your hips in the
smallest part of your waist.
2. Settle your baby on your
hip and slowly pass
him/her around onto your
back holding him or her the
whole time.
3. Once he's on your back
hold him with one hand and
bring the carrier up over his
back with your other hand.
4. Holding on tight to the
straps, pull them tight and
let your baby sink into the
carrier. Make sure his legs
are on each side of the
carrier and he's sitting
centered in the carrier.
5. Snap the right shoulder
strap into the left snap,
making the straps cross your
chest.
6. Bounce your baby and
tighten any straps that need
to be. Your all set!
