Weekly review for 7/29-8/5
Hello all! Yet another busy week. *whew*
Most of the work has been in preparation for the soap sale but that moved along quickly so I had plenty of time to use up some of my creative juices on the sewing machine. I got some work done on the three quilts I’m working on currently as well as the “water” skirt. I can’t seem to move fast enough for my liking on the quilts they are just so darn cute I want them done already! Pictures you say? Well I think we can arrange that!

This is the pattern for the twin sized quilts that I’m working on, should give you an idea of what its going to look like…sort of…mabye?
This is the green schemed quilt that I’m working on, in the middle of the pattern you can see that there is a larger space for the name and here it is.
And then in pink.

This is the baby quilt and its a different style and the twin. I’m just beside myself with how cute this is turning out!
and last but not least picture is the close up of the applique on the “Water skirt”
I also finally some new things done on the website. I am very pleased to be able to check these things off my “to do” list. One is a new page for the quilts that I’m working on. While I’m not offering them for sale JUST yet I do have a gallery so that people can see what its going to look like and watch as I update the projects I’m working on right now as I go. The other page is the instruction page for the Snugglebug carriers. That has been a long time coming and I am so pleased with how it looks now.
I’m extremely excited about this weeks Super soap sale! Its Flutterby Gifts very first sale! The great thing about it is that Mushroom Tree diapers has chosen this time to launch their “Grand opening” to correspond with our sale! I got everything loaded onto the site today. We’ve been waiting on this and working very hard to make it happen. I couldn’t be more proud to offer Jill’s wonderful diapers on my site. All of her diapers are made from reclaimed materials, old shirts, pants sweatshirts ect go into this awesome mamas gear. I just love her innovation not to mention the diapers are so cute! I have to keep reminding myself that I have no children to buy those diapers for and just steer myself clear of that area of the page. *giggles*
Ok folks, I’m off to bed, its getting late. I can’t wait to see what this upcoming week brings!

Wow, I love the quilts. I wish I knew how to sew/quilt. I’ve been thinking about crocheting. I just need to decide on something and then do it. LOL
Blessings!
I’m so jealous of people who can make beautiful quilts. Nice job, Sara! I’m impressed… and jealous
Those quilts are great! I just learned to sew with a sewing machine a few weeks ago, and my next project is learning to quilt. That baby quilt makes me want to learn RIGHT NOW!!
